Enrico Pompili (born 1968 in Bolzano) is an Italian pianist. He won several Italian competitions and gained international attention after the Dublin International Piano Competition. In 1994 he finished second at the Hamamatsu Competition, behind Viktor Lyadov. In 1995 he won the second prize at the XIII Paloma O'Shea Santander International Piano Competition, where no first prize was awarded. This helped launch his international career from 1996 onward. He has recorded Niccolò Castiglioni's works (Col Legno) and Alberto Ginastera's complete piano works (Phoenix Classics), and he released a collection of solo and two-piano works by Michael Glenn Williams on the Stradivarius label.
