Acestridium gymnogaster is a species of armored suckermouth catfish in the genus Acestridium. It belongs to the Loricariidae family and is endemic to the Madeira River in Brazil. The species was described in 2009 by Reis, Lehmann and A. Its binomial name is Acestridium gymnogaster.
