Clanculus depictus is a species of sea snail in the top snail family (Trochidae). The shell is cone-shaped with a partial central hole (pseudo-umbilicus). It is usually white with green radial bands, but can also be yellow or gray with irregular black stripes. The shell has uneven, bead-like spiral ridges. The whorls lie flat, but the second-to-last whorl is angular. The edge around the umbilicus is simple. The columella (the inner column) has one fold at the top and three small bumps below it. This species is found in the Indian Ocean off Mumbai.
