Emilio Rosenblueth Deutsch (April 8, 1926 – January 11, 1994) was a Mexican engineer who studied earthquakes and how buildings respond to them. He was born in Mexico City to Hungarian refugee parents and grew up in a family of researchers.

He studied at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), earning a bachelor’s degree in 1948. He then went to the University of Illinois, where he earned a master’s degree in 1949 and a PhD in 1951.

Rosenblueth worked as an engineer and professor, dedicating his career to seismic research. He advised UNESCO and the Organization of American States on seismic and scientific matters. He was a member of many scientific and engineering organizations in Mexico and internationally, including the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Seismological Society of America. He died in Mexico City at age 67.
