Emblemaria walkeri
Emblemaria walkeri, known as the elusive signal blenny, is a small chaenopsid fish found in the Gulf of California in the eastern central Pacific Ocean. It grows up to 6.5 cm in total length and mainly feeds on zooplankton. The species was described in 1963 by J. S. Stephens and is named in honor of fisheries biologist Boyd W. Walker of the University of California, Los Angeles. Its conservation status is Data Deficient (IUCN 3.1).
