Edmur Pinto Ribeiro (9 September 1929 – 25 September 2007) was a Brazilian football forward and later a manager. Born in Saquarema, he played for clubs in Brazil, Portugal, Spain and Venezuela, including Flamengo, Vasco da Gama, Portuguesa and Náutico in Brazil; Vitória de Guimarães and Leixões in Portugal; Celta de Vigo in Spain; and Deportivo Italia in Venezuela. He was the top scorer in the 1959-60 Portuguese championship with 25 goals for Vitória de Guimarães. He earned one cap for Brazil in 1955 in a friendly against Paraguay. After retiring, he became a football manager in Portugal, leading teams such as Fafe, Gil Vicente and Aliados de Lordelo. He died in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, at age 78.
