Waldemar Dutra
Waldemar Dutra (born February 20, 1983, in Sherwood Park, Canada) is a Canadian former soccer midfielder. He played professionally for three teams:
- Calgary Storm in 2002: 11 appearances, 1 goal.
- NK Osijek in Croatia (2003–2004): 1 appearance, 0 goals. His playing time caused friction between the coach and the club president, and Dutra’s only appearance happened when the coach went around the president.
- 1. FC Schweinfurt 05 in Germany (2004–2005): 5 appearances, 0 goals.
Dutra retired from professional soccer, believing it was difficult to build a pro career in Canada and the United States.
