Earth Defense Force 5 is the fifth main game in the EDF series. Developed by Sandlot and published by D3 Publisher, it released on PlayStation 4 in Japan on December 7, 2017, with a worldwide digital release on December 11, 2018, and a Windows version on July 11, 2019.
