Dragan J. Vučićević
Dragan J. Vučićević (born 9 October 1973) is a Serbian journalist and the editor of Informer. He was born in Most, then part of Czechoslovakia, and studied journalism at the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Belgrade. He started his career at several major newspapers, including Politika, Blic, Glas javnosti, and Demokratija, and helped found Nacional, Kurir and Press before starting Informer in 2012. Informer is known for sensational reporting and for backing the government, often criticizing opponents, independent media, and NGOs.
Vučićević has faced multiple legal and ethical controversies. He has been convicted of defamation and fined several times, with unpaid fines leading to prison orders. Various professional groups and jurists have criticized his work for targeting judges, professors, and other public figures, arguing that such coverage can threaten the judiciary and public trust in institutions.
In addition to his media work, Vučićević has been involved in other incidents. He was involved in a traffic accident in which a pedestrian was injured, with charges of endangering public traffic and a negative blood alcohol test. In 2025, reports say he aired revenge pornography on Informer TV and used provocative language about victims of a Novi Sad canopy collapse, which sparked protests. He also drew criticism for remarks about tennis star Novak Đoković during periods of political activism.
