Dragonriders of Pern is a 1983 American board game published by Mayfair Games. It was designed by Sam Lewis, with artwork by David B. Bromley, Jim Clouse, Tim Hildebrandt, Michael Whelan, and Robin Wood. The game is based on Anne McCaffrey’s Dragonriders of Pern series. It supports 1 to 7 players and takes about 120 minutes to play.

Reception was mixed. Aaron Allston, writing for Fantasy Gamer, said the game is best for die‑hard fans and McCaffrey completists, noting that the mechanics are simple and luck‑based and can feel arbitrary, which may not appeal to adventure gamers who aren’t fans. Nic Grecas, in White Dwarf, gave it 4 out of 10 and criticized the game for lacking enjoyment and excitement, citing unclear rules, unwieldy mechanics, high price, and perceived historical inaccuracy.
