Dragoljub Ljubičić
Dragoljub “Mićko” Ljubičić is a Serbian actor, comedian, and writer born on January 3, 1962, in Belgrade (then part of Yugoslavia). He studied law at the University of Belgrade but did not graduate, while pursuing music and radio advertising on the side.
Ljubičić became famous in 1984 when he joined Indexovo radio pozorište, a popular Serbian radio program that grew into a theatre group. There he started as an actor and later became a co-writer. In 1994, he appeared in the film Tito, po drugi put među Srbima, playing Josip Broz Tito in a scene where Tito returns from the dead and talks with people on the streets of Belgrade.
He also voices Buzz Lightyear in the Serbian dubbing of the Toy Story films. On television, he hosted Pozovi M... ili će on tebe (2007) on TV B92 and later hosted Lekoviti show (2015), which ran for 12 episodes. He currently co-hosts the satirical show PLjiŽ with Vojislav Žanetić and Dragoljub Petrović.
Ljubičić has appeared in several comedy series, including Priđi bliže and Selo gori a baba se češlja. He is part of the cast of the upcoming (as of 2021) series Kljun on Nova S. He also performs in theatre, notably with his one-man show ONE Stvari (premiered 2011) and the play Danas nam je divno (2016), both created with Voja Žanetić.
In 1985 he co-founded TIM TALENATA, an advertising agency that remains active as a creative studio. He received the UEPS Lifetime Achievement Award in 2015. Ljubičić has written three books: Serbia – The National Park (Vol. 1, 1999; Vol. 2, 2007) and Priče za laku noć (posle kojih niste mogli da zaspite), a collection of short stories from the PLjiŽ show. Earlier in his career, he performed in the bands Petar i zli vuci and Kapetan Belkanto, and released the music CD Truba... i druge priče in 2005.
