Don Deacon (June 2, 1912 – December 25, 1943) was a Canadian ice hockey left winger who played parts of three seasons in the NHL for the Detroit Red Wings. Born in Regina, Saskatchewan, he stood 5 ft 9 in tall and weighed 190 lb, shooting left. Deacon played for Detroit from 1936 to 1940. He died at age 31 after falling from a second-floor balcony during a Christmas party in Vancouver; the skull fracture from the fall killed him instantly. It was reported that he had been drinking, and the death was ruled an accident.
