Don Carlson (politician)
Don M. Carlson (born December 30, 1938) is an American educator and Republican politician from Washington. He served in the Washington House of Representatives for the 49th district from 1993 to 2001. He then served in the Washington State Senate for the same district from 2001 to 2005. Carlson lost his Senate seat to Democrat Craig Pridemore in the 2004 election. He was born in Aberdeen, Washington. He is married to Jan Carlson and they have two children. He earned a BA and MA from Western Washington University.
