Dicliptera spicata is a plant in the Acanthaceae family. It grows as a herb up to about 1 metre tall. This species is native to Malesia and to parts of Australia, including Western Australia, the Northern Territory and Queensland. It was first described in 1834. The Queensland Government lists Dicliptera spicata as Least Concern under the Nature Conservation Act.
