Plot
Prasanta Kumar Roy, the son of a rich industrialist in Lucknow, loves music more than his family business. His father disapproves, so Prasanta runs away to Calcutta and works as a singer under the name Abhijit Chowdhury. He falls for Sucharita, the niece of a rich man, Amritlal Majumder. Sucharita admires Abhijit and tries to meet him, asking for a photo. Complications arise when Prasanta’s secret is discovered: Suchi’s driver, Hridoy Haran, is actually Prasanta in disguise. The story follows their romance, family tensions, and a fundraising show for a friend’s surgery, ultimately ending in a happy reconciliation and a plan for their marriage, with a humorous note about Prasanta’s role as a driver.
