David Packer is an American actor born in Passaic, New Jersey. He was active from 1982 to 2015. His first starring role was Daniel Bernstein in the 1983 NBC miniseries V, a part he played again in the 1984 sequel V: The Final Battle. While filming V, he was present when co-star Dominique Dunne was killed, which led to public criticism that he could have done more; colleagues later said he was young, frightened, and deeply affected by the tragedy.

Packer appeared in RoboCop (1987), You Can’t Hurry Love (1988), Strange Days (1995), True Crime (1996), and Infested (2002). He won a Cable Ace Award in 1994 for his role as Leo in the 1993 TV series Big Al. He voiced Jeff in the video game Double Switch, and has guest-starred on many TV shows, including ER, Fame, St. Elsewhere, thirtysomething, The Division, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, CSI: NY, and M*A*S*H.
