David Ferreiro
David Ferreiro Quiroga (born 1 April 1988) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a winger for Arenteiro. He was born in Baños de Molgas, Ourense, Galicia and is 1.70 meters tall.
Ferreiro came through the youth systems of Nogueira and Pabellón Ourense. He began his senior career with Ourense B in 2006, then played for Ourense’s first team in 2007–08, followed by spells with Atlético Ciudad and Zamora. In 2011 he signed with Granada and was loaned to Cádiz, Racing Santander and Hércules during his time there.
In 2014 he joined Lugo, and in 2016 moved to Huesca. He helped Huesca win promotion to La Liga for the 2018 season. Ferreiro made his La Liga debut on 19 August 2018 as a late substitute in a 2–1 victory at Eibar and scored his first top-flight goal on 5 January 2019 in a 2–1 win over Real Betis.
He left Huesca in July 2022 and signed with Cartagena on a two-year contract. After a spell with Málaga in 2024, he joined Arenteiro, where he wears number 7.
