Dashanbao Black-necked Crane National Nature Reserve
Dashanbao Black-necked Crane National Nature Reserve is a protected area in Dashanbao Town, Zhaoyang District, Zhaotong City, Yunnan Province, China. It covers 19,200 hectares (about 74 square miles) of high-altitude plateau marshland at 2,200–3,300 meters above sea level. The reserve was established in 1990 to protect the winter habitat of the Black-necked crane, and it has been a Ramsar Wetland site since 2004.
