Darío Husaín
Darío Fernando Husaín (born 2 May 1976 in Haedo, Buenos Aires Province, Argentina) is a former Argentine football forward. He started in Vélez Sársfield’s youth system and played for Vélez Sársfield from 1995 to 2002, appearing in 211 league games and scoring 45 goals.
He later played for River Plate (2003), Universidad Católica (2004), Racing Club (2004–2005), Puerto Rico Islanders (2006), VB Sports Club (2007), Deportivo Pereira (2007), San Martín de San Juan (2008–2009), Itumbiara (2010), and Juventud Unida Universitario (2010). In total, he made 310 league appearances and scored 58 goals.
Internationally, he was part of the Argentina setup in 1999 but did not play in an official match. After retiring as a player, he worked as a youth coach for Miami Strike Force. He is the older brother of Claudio Husaín, who also played professional football.
