Damon Elliott
Damon William Elliott, born March 21, 1973 in Beverly Hills, California, is an American record producer, songwriter and entrepreneur. Also known as Buck 22, he creates music across many genres, including hip hop, R&B, pop, rock, gospel, country and more. Since 1996, he has produced for artists such as Flesh-n-Bone, Mya, Destiny’s Child, Pink, Jessica Simpson, Macy Gray, Solange, Keyshia Cole and Kelis. He has written and produced theme songs for TV shows like Holly’s World, Kendra on Top and The Lylas. As Buck 22, he released hick-hop songs with Billy Ray Cyrus, including Achy Breaky 2, which reached number 80 on the Billboard Hot 100. Elliott produced the Academy Award-nominated song “Applause” for the 2022 film Tell It Like a Woman. He is the founder and CEO of Damon Elliott Music Group and the founder/president of Confidential Records and Kind Music Group. He is the son of singer Dionne Warwick and Bill Elliott, has a brother named David, and is related to Whitney Houston (cousin once removed) and Leontyne Price (cousin). Dee Dee Warwick is his aunt.
