Curtis Main
Curtis Lee Main (born 20 June 1992) is an English footballer who plays as a striker for Ayr United in the Scottish Championship. He started at Sunderland's academy and made his senior debut for Darlington in 2008 at 15, becoming the club's youngest-ever player. After trials with several clubs, he joined Middlesbrough in 2011 and had a loan spell with Shrewsbury Town in 2013. He signed for Doncaster Rovers in 2014, spent time on loan at Oldham Athletic in 2016, and then moved to Portsmouth, helping them win promotion to League One. He joined Motherwell in January 2018 and Aberdeen in 2019. A brief return to Shrewsbury Town followed in 2021, then he signed for St Mirren later that year. In 2023 he moved to Bengaluru in India, before returning to Scotland with Dundee in 2024. At Dundee he scored a hat-trick in a 7-1 League Cup win over Bonnyrigg Rose and later scored in the league against St Mirren. In January 2025 he left Dundee and joined Ayr United, debuting the same day against Partick Thistle and later scoring a brace in March against Airdrieonians.
