Corysthea

Corysthea is a genus of leaf beetles in the family Chrysomelidae, subfamily Eumolpinae. It is found in South America. The genus was named by Baly in 1865, and its type species is Corycia funesta (described in 1864). Earlier names for the genus, such as Corycia, were preoccupied, so Corysthea is the accepted name.
