Conus sculpturatus
Conus sculpturatus is a species of sea snail in the cone snail family (Conidae). Like other cone snails, it is predatory and venomous and can sting humans, so live ones should be handled with care or not at all. The shell grows to about 32–44 mm in length. This species occurs in the waters off the Philippines. It was described in 1986 by Röckel & da Motta. It also goes by the synonyms Phasmoconus sculpturatus and Conus (Phasmoconus) sculpturatus. Its conservation status is Data Deficient (IUCN 3.1).
