Continuous is an Irish-trained thoroughbred racehorse born on 5 March 2020 in Japan. Bred at Paca Paca Farm in Hokkaido, he is by Heart's Cry out of Fluff (damsire Galileo), with Sunday Silence as his grandsire. Trained by Aidan O’Brien, he began his racing career with a win at Curragh and then claimed the Group 3 Prix Thomas Bryon.

In his early seasons he ran in the Dante Stakes (finishing third in a dead heat), the Prix du Jockey Club, and the King Edward VII Stakes, before winning the Great Voltigeur Stakes. He later won the St Leger Stakes by a clear margin, finished fifth in the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe, and was then withdrawn from the Champion Stakes after developing a fever. He was also invited to the Japan Cup but did not run due to stiffness after exercise.
