Conchita (musician)
Conchita, born Maria Concepción Mendívil Feito on March 3, 1981, in Helsinki, Finland, is a Spanish singer‑songwriter based in Madrid. She has been making music since 2007 and is signed to EMI Spain. In 2016 she started a French group called Chansons d'hiver with Pablo Cebrián, releasing their first video and an EP in March 2016. Her influences include Carlos Chaouen, Jorge Drexler, Tontxu, Antonio Vega, Los Piratas, Quique González, Corinne Bailey Rae and Edith Piaf. She began writing songs as a child, teaches herself guitar at 15 and also plays drums and piano. She released the charity single "Un beso redondo" in 2015 and has toured with Tom's Cabin and Luis Ramiro.
