Comil
Comil Carrocerias e Ônibus Ltda is a Brazilian company that makes bus and coach bodies. It started in 1985 as Indústria de Carrocerias Erechim and was renamed in 2000 to Comil Carrocerias e Ônibus Ltda. The company is based in Erechim, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, and also runs a factory in Mexico. Its products have been exported to 29 countries. The business was founded by the Corradi and Mascarello families, and Deoclécio Corredi is listed as president. In addition to buses, Comil has manufactured grain storage buildings and equipment. The company paused bus manufacturing for two years but resumed production in 2002.
