Colin White (31 March 1947 – 19 January 2011) was an English rugby union international who played as a prop. He was born in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England.

Club career
White played for Gosforth RFC, where he served as captain and helped the club win the John Player Cup twice.

Personal challenge
While working as a tree surgeon in 1978, he lost three fingers on his right hand in a chainsaw accident. He still managed to continue his rugby career at a high level.

International career
White earned four England caps. He made his international debut in 1983 in a victory over the New Zealand All Blacks at home, and he was capped a further three times during the 1984 Five Nations Championship. He did not score any points for England.

Death
Colin White died on 19 January 2011 at the age of 63. He is remembered as a tough, dedicated prop who contributed to Gosforth and England.
