Cnemaspis alwisi, also known as Alwis' day gecko (Alwis's day gecko), is a small, day-active gecko that is endemic to Sri Lanka. Adults reach about 33–40 mm in snout-to-vent length. The species is oviparous, laying eggs. The name alwisi honors Sri Lankan zoologist Lyn de Alwis (1930–2006) for his wildlife-conservation work. It belongs to the gecko family, Gekkonidae, in the genus Cnemaspis.
