1981 Djiboutian presidential election

Presidential elections were held in Djibouti on 12 June 1981. Earlier that year, Djibouti had become a one-party state with the People's Rally for Progress as the only legal party. Hassan Gouled Aptidon, the RPP leader and president since 1977, was the only candidate and was re-elected as president.
