Cinna latifolia
Cinna latifolia, commonly known as the drooping woodreed, is a tall, clump-forming grass native to the Northern Hemisphere with a circumboreal distribution. It grows in moist areas such as forest understories and along riverbanks. Plants can reach nearly two meters in height. The flowers form an open cluster of spikelets that are generally green with a purple tint, and they bloom from late summer into fall. It belongs to the grass family (Poaceae), in the genus Cinna. Its conservation status is Secure (NatureServe).
