White Sands Pupfish
White Sands Pupfish were a professional baseball team from Alamogordo, New Mexico. They played in independent leagues, not part of Major or Minor League Baseball.
The team started in 2009 as the Coastal Kingfish and played in the Continental Baseball League. That year they had no home ballpark and were a traveling team. In April 2010 they became the Continental Baseball League’s travel team, taking over from the West Texas Road Hogs.
In 2011 the team joined the Pecos League under the name White Sands Pupfish and moved to Alamogordo. The team folded in 2019. Their colors were Vegas gold, black, and white. It was owned by Andrew Dunn/Coastal Baseball LLC, and coverage came from the Alamogordo Daily News. More information was at whitesandspupfish.com.
