Christophe Galfard (born March 30, 1976, in Paris) is a French physicist and writer. He studied at École Centrale Paris, finishing in 1999 with a focus on theoretical physics, and earned a PhD at the University of Cambridge, where he worked with Stephen Hawking. In 2007 he co-authored George and the Secrets of the Universe with Stephen Hawking and Lucy Hawking. He also wrote the Prince of Clouds trilogy: Le Blueberry (2009), Le Matin des trois soleils (2012), and La Colère du ciel et du vent (2013). In 2015 he published The Universe in Your Hand.
