1981–82 Sudanese parliamentary election
Sudan, a member of the Arab League, held parliamentary elections from 13 November 1981 to 15 January 1982. The People's Assembly was reduced from 368 seats to 151, with 138 elected and 13 appointed by President Gaafar Nimeiry. The Sudanese Socialist Union was the only legal party and won all 151 seats.
