Bahareh Afshari
Bahareh Afshari is an Iranian actress born on July 5, 1984, in Tehran. She started out as a fashion designer, running her own boutique, and was named Iran’s youngest fashion designer by Chelcheragh magazine in 2004. Four months later she switched to acting after being persuaded by director Kianoush Ayari. He cast her in Roozegare Gharib, where she played two roles, and later introduced her to the film She Was an Angel.
Afshari is best known for She Was an Angel (2005). She received a nomination for Best Actress in a Television Drama at the Hafez Awards for her performance in Distances (2010). She has continued acting in films and TV, while also pursuing other creative work.
Today she co-owns a design company with her brother and leads the fashion design department.
