Charlie Chopra & the Mystery of Solang Valley is a 2023 Indian Hindi-language mystery thriller series on SonyLIV. Based on Agatha Christie’s The Sittaford Mystery, it is directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, who also co-wrote the series with Jyotsna Hariharan and Anjum Rajabali. The show is produced by Vishal Bhardwaj Pictures, Priti Sahani, and Agatha Christie Limited, and features an ensemble cast that includes Wamiqa Gabbi, Priyanshu Painyuli, Naseeruddin Shah, Lara Dutta, Neena Gupta, Ratna Pathak Shah, Gulshan Grover, Paoli Dam, Vivaan Shah, and Imaad Shah. It comprises one season with six episodes. The pilot released on June 30, 2023, with the remaining episodes arriving on September 27, 2023.
Plot: When Charlie Chopra’s quiet fiancé Jimmy Nautiyal is accused of murdering his uncle, she travels to their Solang Valley home to help him. There she uncovers a web of long-buried family secrets, lies, and greed in this peaceful town. As she gets closer to the truth, danger mounts, and the next life at risk may be Charlie’s own.
