Catherine Spaak (3 April 1945 – 17 April 2022) was a French-Italian actress, singer, and TV host. She was born near Paris and grew up in a famous family. She moved to Italy at 15 and became an Italian citizen. She began acting in the late 1950s and became a bright teen star in the 1960s, known for her fashion and lively presence in comedies. Her notable films include Circle of Love (1964), Diary of a Telephone Operator (1969), and The Cat o’ Nine Tails (1971). Spaak also pursued singing and released several albums, earning comparisons to the French singer Françoise Hardy.

In the 1980s she shifted to television, becoming a long-running host on programs such as Forum (1985–1988) and Harem (1988–2002). She later appeared on Dancing with the Stars and other reality shows.

Spaak was married four times and had two children, Sabrina and Gabriele. She was a Buddhist, vegetarian, and an animal-rights activist.

She died in Rome on 17 April 2022 at the age of 77 after suffering a brain hemorrhage.
