Caspar Berry

Caspar Berry is a motivational speaker who focuses on risk, decision making, innovation and leadership. He has also worked as an actor, screenwriter, sports commentator, entrepreneur and professional poker player.

He studied at the Royal Grammar School in Newcastle and then read economics and anthropology at Cambridge University.

As an actor, he appeared in Byker Grove and in other TV and film projects such as The Black Velvet Gown, Spender and Bring Me the Head of Mavis Davis. He wrote screenplays including Downtime, Killing Time and The Crow: Salvation, and he wrote for Hollyoaks and Byker Grove.

At 25 he became a professional poker player in Las Vegas for three years, then returned to the UK. He later worked as a TV poker presenter and expert on Poker Night Live and Sky Poker, appeared on Sky Sports, and wrote poker strategy for Flush magazine. He was an uncredited poker adviser on Casino Royale.

Back in the UK in 2002, he co-founded Twenty First Century Media, which he ran until selling it to Ten Alps in 2008. He then trained with The Mind Gym and started his own speaking and training business, helping clients with calculated risk, decision making and innovation.
