Carnarvon Community College
Carnarvon Community College is a government school in Carnarvon, Western Australia. It offers early learning through to Year 12 on a single K–12 campus and is operated by the WA Department of Education. The college is in a regional area about 906 kilometres northwest of Perth.
History and changes: The school began in 1954 as Carnarvon Junior High School, was upgraded to Carnarvon Senior High School in 1974, and in 2019 merged with the nearby kindergarten and primary school to form Carnarvon Community College, a unified K–12 campus.
Enrollment and community: In 2018 the school had 464 students, with about 70% identifying as Indigenous Australians and around 7% from a language background other than English. The first year of the new K–12 campus, 2019, had about 459 students. The principal is Ryan Govan. The school colours are gold and black.
