Carlos Manuel Vaz Pinto (born 22 August 1974) is a Portuguese football manager. He has coached in Portugal, Angola, Ethiopia, Kenya and India. He began with Académica’s youth teams (U15 and U19) and then managed Sertanense. In Angola he led Recreativo da Caála (2012–2014), helping them reach the 2012 Angola Cup final, their first major final, and also worked with Académica do Lobito and Libolo. In 2017 he became manager of St. George in Ethiopia and won the 2017 Ethiopian Super Cup. He later led Gor Mahia in Kenya, winning the FKF President’s Cup in 2021, before leaving for family reasons. In 2022 he moved to India to coach Sreenidi Deccan, guiding them to a successful 2022–23 season and qualification for the 2023 Indian Super Cup. In the group stage, Sreenidi Deccan drew 1–1 with Bengaluru, beat Kerala Blasters 2–0, but finished with a 1–0 defeat to RoundGlass Punjab and did not advance. In 2024 he became the manager of Mafra in Portugal.
