Roberto Scheda
Roberto Scheda (born 30 October 1942) is an Italian politician and lawyer who has been the Mayor of Vercelli since 26 June 2024, succeeding Andrea Corsaro. He previously served as Mayor of Rosasco from 8 June 2009 to 26 May 2019, after Vincenzo Gardini and before Riccardo Berzero Taccone. He was a Senator from 23 April 1992 to 14 April 1994, representing Biella, and was succeeded by Stefano Caldoro. Scheda also led the New Italian Socialist Party from 2007 to 2009. He was born in Livorno and studied at the University of Pavia.
