Carl Schylander
Carl Schylander (1748–1811) was a Swedish stage actor and an early member of the Royal Dramatic Theatre (Dramaten). He was best known for his comic work, especially playing women’s roles on stage. He joined Dramaten in 1787, and he also served as the theatre’s inspector and kept its accounts. In 1790, he performed at the Stenborg Theatre. He was married to fellow actress Ebba Morman (1769–1802); they wed in 1802, shortly before her death.
