Canal 5 Creative Campus
Canal 5 Creative Campus is in Changzhou, Zhonglou District, at Sanbao Street No.141. It opened at the end of 2008. The site covers 36,388 square meters, with about 32,000 square meters of floor space.
Sanbao Street used to be a busy market area for merchants, especially for wood trades. It produced many notable wood businessmen in Changzhou and was as important as Qingguo Lane.
Today Canal 5 Creative Campus is a multifunctional district that blends canal culture, preserved industry, and modern creativity. It is a National AA Tourist Attraction and a Factory Tour Demonstration site in Changzhou.
The canal isn’t navigable anymore, but its history still speaks of Changzhou’s prosperity. The campus was part of the 2010 Changzhou Tourism Culture Year.
The main entrance has a pier that lets visitors reach nearby spots such as Hongmei Park, Dongpo Park, and Tianning Temple.
