Calliostoma alternatum
Calliostoma alternatum is an extinct species of sea snail, a marine gastropod in the family Calliostomatidae, part of the top-snails group Trochoidea. Fossils have been found in France. The species was described by Millet in 1865. It has also been referred to as Calliostoma (Calliostoma) alternatum and Trochus alternatus in older classifications.
