CERT Polska is the Computer Emergency Response Team for Poland. It operates within NASK, the Scientific and Academic Computer Network, which runs the national .pl domain and provides advanced IT services. CERT Polska is Poland’s first CERT and has been active since 1996. Its main work is to handle security incidents, coordinate with other response teams around the world, and carry out security research and development.

Since 1997, CERT Polska has been a member of FIRST, the international forum of incident response teams. Since 2000 it has been part of TERENA TF-CSIRT and an associated organization of Trusted Introducer. In 2005, CERT Polska helped create Abuse FORUM, a forum for Polish abuse teams. In 2010 it joined the Anti-Phishing Working Group, a group of companies and organizations fighting online crime.
