Buttermilk Creek (Lambton County)

Buttermilk Creek is a small stream in the town of Petrolia, Lambton County, Ontario, Canada. It begins in a field north of Petrolia and flows about 5 kilometers through the northwest part of the town until it reaches the Stonehouse Drain in the Lorne C. Henderson Conservation Area. The Stonehouse Drain then flows into Bear Creek, which joins the North Sydenham and Sydenham Rivers on its way to Lake St. Clair. Buttermilk Creek is part of the St. Clair Region Conservation Authority’s Lower Bear Watershed in the Great Lakes Basin.
