“Bussin” is a 2:16 trap song by Nicki Minaj and Lil Baby, released on February 11, 2022. It was written by Nicki Minaj, Lil Baby, Tate Kobang, Finesse, and produced by Swaggyono and DJ Tizz. This is their second collaboration after “Do We Have a Problem?” which came out a week earlier on February 4, 2022. The track later appears on Minaj’s greatest-hits collection Queen Radio: Volume 1 (2022).
The music video teaser for “Bussin” ends the video for “Do We Have a Problem?” and was met with positive reactions from fans. Minaj announced the song on Twitter and revealed the artwork on February 7. It was part of Minaj’s weekly “Pink Friday” surprise treats for fans.
Musically, Minaj and Baby trade verses over a sharp, foreboding beat, with Minaj delivering a quick rap flow. In the United States, “Bussin” peaked at No. 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 for the week ending February 26, 2022, and reached No. 5 on the Digital Song Sales chart.
