Vanessa Arteaga
Vanessa Arteaga, known simply as Vanessa, is a former American professional video game player from California who specialized in fighting games, especially Dead or Alive 4. She was born in 1987 or 1988.
She was the first overall pick in the Championship Gaming Series (CGS) draft and played for the San Francisco Optx. In CGS 2007, Vanessa went undefeated and helped the Optx win first place in the Dead or Alive 4 Female Individual event. In CGS 2008, the Optx, with teammate NinjaCW, finished second to the Birmingham Salvo.
After CGS, she joined Less Than 3 (LT3), a pro gaming and cosplay team led by Kat Gunn and sponsored by Mad Catz. Vanessa also appeared on the reality competition show WCG Ultimate Gamer.
