Bucculatrix locuples is a small moth from the Bucculatricidae family. It was described by Edward Meyrick in 1919. This species is found in North America, including Kentucky, Quebec and Ohio. The caterpillars mine the leaves of their host plant, Alnus semdata. Pupation happens in a brown to almost black, hairy cocoon spun on a twig.
