Bruce's Snowball Market No. 1 Addition
Bruce's Snowball Market No. 1 Addition is a small, historic two-story brick building in Perry, Iowa. Built in 1930 in the Art Deco style, it was added to an earlier 1922 storefront (now gone) on the edge of downtown. The shop was designed for customers who arrived by car, reflecting the growing automobile era. Its irregular footprint fits the irregular lot and it sits at the end of an important downtown view. The brickwork and cast concrete trim feature chevron patterns typical of Art Deco design. The building occupies less than one acre and is located at 921 Railroad Street. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.
