Bravo Transport is a Hong Kong public transport company that owns Citybus. It began in 2020 as a consortium led by Templewater, with Hans Energy and Ascendal as minority partners. The CEO is Adam Leishman, the founder of Ascendal, and the company’s slogan is “Connecting people and our city.”

In August 2020, Bravo Transport agreed to buy NWS Transport Services for HK$3.2 billion, bringing in Citybus and New World First Bus (NWFB). The acquisition closed in October 2020, and NWS Transport Services was renamed Bravo Transport with a new Chinese name. In October 2021, Bravo Media was appointed as the exclusive bus advertising agency for Bravo Transport through June 2023.

Shareholding changes included Hans Energy agreeing in December 2021 to buy about an extra 7% (leaving Templewater around 83.9%, Hans Energy about 15.56%, Ascendal about 0.54%), though not finalized by January 2022. In January 2022, Bravo sold most of its Octopus Holdings stake to MTR Corporation due to COVID-related losses.

In May 2024, Hans Energy announced it would acquire a further 54.44% from Templewater and Ascendal, making Hans Energy the majority owner at 70%, with Templewater at 30% and Ascendal no longer in control. The move was completed on 31 July 2024.

Branding and operations changes included a possible Citybus–NWFB merger discussed in 2021, depending on franchise renewals. In July 2022 Bravo Transport discontinued the NWFB brand, and NWFB operations were merged into Citybus on 1 July 2023 after franchise renewals.
